For this piece, I used the ‘classic swipe’ technique by swiping columns & strips of acrylic paint with sheets of acetate. Silicone oil is absolutely significant & essential in achieving the ‘cell effect’ in acrylic pour art. Hence for 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙞𝙙𝙤𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙥𝙞𝙘 𝙑𝙤𝙡𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙤 I definitely added it into the mixture of acrylic paint, water & pouring medium. The greater the drops of silicone oil and the more well blended & mixed they are with acrylic paint, the more fantastic & wonderful the cell effect you’re most likely & able to achieve.
