Rainbow's Art Realm

A long rectangular ‘panorama.' I'm not sure whether I like this piece. Maybe it's because it resembles too much of children’s playdough, art and comic books overall. But it is fairly similar and close to Mel Bochner’s thesaurus or ‘word art.' Bold, prominent and witty, they start with one word—e.g ‘silence,’ ‘amazing,’ ‘crazy’—and the rest of his paintings would be made up of synonyms of that word pulled from a thesaurus. The text I paint in 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙪𝙨 which are synonyms to the words ‘spectacular,’ ‘excellent’ and ‘incredible’ etc are highly evocative of Mel Bochner's art.
